This years LFW saw a new entry on the catwalks that created hype amongst the who’s who in the fashion world. ganicwater was the water of choice at the top shows this year including Fashion for Relief, Qasimi, Issa, Fashion Fringe and Regine Mowell. Having barely recovered from the excitement of LFW, ganicwater was at this years “global bottled water congress” where the annual “water innovation awards” were announced. A record no. of 201 submissions from 40 countries competed for no more than 7 sought after trophies. The judges agreed with Naomi – ganicwater won the bronze for “Best New Flavoured Water” and the gold for “Best New Label”.

Arguably the hottest date in the art world calendar, the Frieze Art Fair was held in London’s Regent Park from the 16-19 October. Now in its 5th year, some 151 galleries from 28 countries were chosen to take part, drawn from 450 applicants. Wielding a brand of hipness of its own, the annual art fair resembles the Sundance Film Festival in its ability to attract celebrities and other influential personalities. VEEN with its’ close bond to the art world and its’ own art collection was therefore the perfect fit to be showcased at each of the 151 galleries.

At the same time, the first ever VEEN art exhibition took place in Finland and was a huge success. It displayed 40 paintings by Antti Eklund, the designer of the award winning VEEN Wave 66 bottle. The paintings revolve around VEEN and borrow themes from well- known pieces. The exhibition “Recycled masterpieces and 15 minute originals” raised a positive interest among the visitors and 10 000 euros in charity for children in the Arctic Circle, the home of VEEN.
